Project Description
Proposed outdoor natural hot pools recreation site – public-private venture
Site design features:
The geothermal baths and spa sited and oriented for views down Lillooet River and up its tributary Meager Creek. Three outdoor pools in a natural setting (for men, women, and mixed); arrival area, change rooms, lounge. Day-use area for picnicking, overnight area oriented for maximum views from all campsites, trails along the escarpment and down to the delta, and bus and auto parking. Joint venture between the Squamish Forest District and a private resort development company, for visitors from Whistler Ski area.
