Project Description

Built as part of a Master Plan Community, these forty-six residential townhomes were the first phase of the 100-unit development (not built). These homes … feature an intimate community feel with high-end, Craftsman-style construction.

 

The work included: Residential and public RoW planting and irrigation, playfield, small community center and playground, small park, project entry, stormwater plan, pedestrian and vehicular paving, fencing.

 

Greenbuilding features:
• Preservation of heritage and other existing oaks, incorporation into overall layout of the development and planting plan
• Native oaks as street trees as well as feature specimens
• Native ground covers for street boulevards
• Drought-tolerant ornamental ground covers and shrubs among residential units
• Minimal use of turf except for sports / outdoor recreation field
• Localized stormwater infiltration
• Constructed, naturalized water course for stormwater drainage
• Pervious unit paving in perimeter drives
• Wood rail boundary fencing
• Clustered development – minimal development footprint
